Our monthly concerts feature a broad range of musical styles and genres – from traditional folk to bluegrass and country, a cappella to blues and jazz, solo performers to seven-piece line-ups… and everything in-between.
Blending the richness of Te Reo Māori with musical influences from around the globe, WAI.TAI creates an experience that is as thought-provoking and soulful as it is energising and rhythmically dynamic.
Fiddle-centric folk, from foot-stomping to heart-wrenching and everything in-between; compelling songs, tunes and harmonies that transcend genre and stylistic boundaries.
These are very casual, unamplified get-togethers, sitting around a large table and playing music.
Try out some new songs or show off some old favourites. Anyone who enjoys playing, singing – or just listening – is welcome.

You, Me, Everybody is a who’s who of New Zealand bluegrass and Americana: some of the country’s best acoustic instrumentalists creating a new, dynamic sound that showcases the best of Americana in Aotearoa.
Irish music – bohdran, whistles, mandolin, fiddle and guitar accompany Sean, who performs a mix of originals and traditional and contemporary Irish and World music.
The best of Country, Irish and Classic Hits… Hobnail blend soaring song, furious fiddling, berserk banjo, fabulous folk, beautiful ballads and some twisted versions of pop classics.
