Live music.
Every month.
Katikati Folk Club.
Our monthly concerts feature a broad range of musical styles and genres – from traditional folk to bluegrass and country, a capella to blues and jazz, solo performers to seven-piece line-ups… and everything in-between.
Catchy folk songs with stunning, rich melodies and effortlessly smooth lyrics that tell heartfelt stories about love and life.
Hailing from New Plymouth, this uplifting band will hit you with beautiful three-part harmonies and toe-tapping rhythms.
An opportunity to play two or three songs to a friendly group on a Sunday afternoon.
These sessions are informal – and free – so come along and try out your new songs, or just listen.
Enda Kenny is an Irish-Australian songwriter. One of the best entertainers in the world of folk and acoustic music, his songs offer thoughtful stories of his adopted homeland; always memorable, often hard-hitting, they are spiced with plenty of humour.
A genre-defying artist whose mostly acoustic guitar-based music stems from roots, world, blues, rock, reggae, funk, folk and South Pacific styles.
Broadcasting harmony and happiness… innovative, inspiring and entertaining, with a healthy sense of humour. The ukulele is nothing to be afraid of.
BB Bowness and Alex Rubin have fused their love of bluegrass and traditional roots music into something fresh and unique, combining technical mastery with a reverence for tradition.
Eden – appearing with Kim Halliday and Sarah Charlie Rose – combines her love of infectious pop melodies and the grit of Americana stringed instruments to create a unique and mesmerising storytelling experience for her audience.
With a blend of dreamy acoustic duets, bluesy murder ballads and foot-stomping folk, Nashville-based South for Winter’s sound is as eclectic as their origins.
An eclectic mix of contemporary folk, soft rock, and traditional world music, like a hundred flavours of the world all skilfully combined into a single concert.
